Servers are an essential part of almost every company’s daily work. When there is a server error or data disappears, it needs to be fixed as soon as possible in order to continue the regular workflow.

NAS servers are sensitive to power fluctuations, sudden power outages and overvoltage. RAID arrays (most common data storage unit for NAS servers) that have been used for a while, are extremely sensitive because power fluctuations may cause for one or several disks to desynchronize in which case the whole system might crash.
Overheating
An insufficient cooling system in a server room or at home may cause any type of server to overheat and hence the hard drives to fail.
Operating system or software with a defect
A faulty operating system may cause problems when formatting or changing a server. If you change the server settings or hardware, a faulty operating system may cause a partial or complete loss of data.
Mechanical problems
If one of the drives stops working in a server system, then other drives compensate with an increased workload. Failure of several drives may cause the whole server to crash.
Accidents
Any type of storage device can be harmed or destroyed by water damage or fire. We have extensive knowledge and skills for cleaning and recovering data from damaged and destroyed servers.
